Painting Rims for 60 corvette

I am painting rims for my 60 corvette what is the best paint to use I will have to use a rattle can and I wanted to paint them horizon blue.

My local paint store (called Ross Automotive) mixes the color you want and puts the correct blend into a rattle can.

I would seriously consider powder coating. I find most rattle can paints chip away quickly especially if you put the hub caps on and off a lot.

I used epoxy paint on my 59 rims.. Its pretty durable and not as expensive as powder coating.
