C4 Appraisal in North Alabama for agreed insurance policy carrier change

Hi, I did a search on this first but didn't come up with anything local to me. I would normally be the person to DO this appraisal but this is for my personal vehicle. My 1995 6speed coupe, completely original (99+% - working on recovering sunvisors), all books , wheel lock back, factory delivery material, both tops, glass still with plastic peel covering still one, GSC's etc. Interior basically perfect including no wrinkles in leather. I switched collector car insurance companies because I was having issues with my 20+ year policy(s). I have had 25k agreed value since it was eligible. I need a written appraisal that meets or exceeds with amount. It is a one year color, zf-6, never seen rain. Local help would be appreciated (near North Alabama) or someone that understands original Corvettes. The underwriters asked me what I have done to the car to make it worth 25k, I said it is what I HAVEN'T DONE, that makes it worth 25k + (I would not even consider selling it for that - no flames please, it is worth more than that to me).
    Thanks!
    Chris

You need to look at other insurance companies. Try the company through the Corvette Museum, better coverage, less limitations, flatbed towing, no appraisal, need to send photos, and cheaper than any other that I have found. And you insure it for what you think it's worth!

        I second this.
With Hagerty I send them some pictures, tell them what I want it insured for, and they insure for that amount.
If you have documentation, that always helps, such as a Top Flight award.
        Calling them helps too.

I have a friend with a base motor 72 insured for twice what it would actually be worth, and Hagerty suggested the value.

So who is this perfect insurance company? I'm sure others would be interested. I'd also be interested in what fine print you are referring to and what you call a border line case. This is an area where few people are experts, me included!

I will ask once again who is this company, I'm sure others would like to know. I will have to read the fine print of my policy but when I took it out with the Corvette Museum I specifically explained to them that I drive my car about 7500 miles a year, to car shows out of state, to our getaway on the weekends etc.I was assured that as long as it wasn't my daily driver, we have 4 other vehicles, that there was no problem. I broke down one year, on the way home from Bowling Green Kentucky, just outside Columbus Ohio. I couldn't find the number for their tow service so I called AAA. They flat bedded it 103 miles to my home. They reimbursed me the full amount.

Nothing against NCM insurance, but I can’t give legal or professional advice here. I just remind you to do your due diligence and ask the right questions. Please understand I am not trying NOT to relay information, it is just everything is so litigious, I must censor my comments. I am kind of a prepper in insurance terminology, I want absolutes, not," they assured me"...etc. When things go to court, verbal statements like that have zero meaning. Thanks

You sound like a politician! I wasn't asking for legal or professional advice. I merely asked the name of the company so I could check them out. People ask for suggestions all the time on this forum. You asked for someone to survey your car, I don't see the difference.
