    I have a 1959 283in 230 hp motor single carb are the lifters adjustable? Thank You

      I'm not sure what you mean by "adjustable". All Corvette lifters through at least 1996 were adjustable at the rocker arm. Mechanical lifters were adjusted to the specified clearance between the valve stem end and rocker arm. Hydraulic lifter engines were adjusted one turn down from zero lash. Your lifters are hydraulic lifters. You will find the adjustment procedure in the factory service manual.
