Ah Ha, that is a great question Mike. The answer to that is that I don't have one. Also thanks for enlightening me to another valuable resource and reference. I rely mainly on the internet, the 69 AIM , this and other blogs. Since my ultimate goal is NCRS judging makes sense to know what the judges will be looking for right.

Daniel, it would be the single most helpful resource you can find, and it will save you many hundreds of $ in mistakes.

Thanks Mike, That makes so much sense. I'm going to order one today before I spend another dollar on parts. Could be the single best piece of advice I'v gotten to date.

I would like to clear up some speculation as to weather an early 69 A.I.R. pump may have had a blow off valve as did all 1968 production pumps.. I think... I know the pulley for the L-46 is 3932458 DA hard to come by and not cheep. I have seen several pumps that claim to fit I am wondering wich one would be correct.

My Oct '68 300 HP car has the original smog pump and it does not have the valve.
