    What are these brackets for???

Any ideas what these brackets are for? Not even sure to be honest with you if they're off my 69 SB 4spd coupe.

appreciate any help you can give.

They are actually supports, not brackets, GM # 3846565, for 64-65 Corvettes w/AC and 66-71 Corvettes w/327,350 as well as Chevrolet passenger cars. I have at least a dozen if anyone needs one.

But what do they support? Where do they go? I thought they looked like the lower alt racket too but the fact that there were two of them threw me off.

Part number 3846565 is the alternator bracket on the left side bolted to the front of the exhaust manifold and described well by Liukkonen.

            Michael------

Only ONE per car. Ever. So, you have enough for one car and a spare for when that one wears out. In about 500 years you might need the spare. I've got a lot of NOS spares. If I live to be 2,000 years old, I'm covered.
