Getting ready to paint a 1969 convertible and working through details on painting various parts after reviewing previous postings. The latest NCRS Guide indicates that the bezel is painted with green zinc chromate and painted body color. I understand that the bezel was painted separate from the body. The picture in the Guide shows that the bezel has quite a bit of 'gloss'? My question is, 'should the bezel have similar 'gloss' as the door jambs, door edges, etc ?'. Thanks for the help. Steve

Having said that, many "dull down" their jams far more than what they appeared originally. So, be careful not to overdo it.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS
