    Window Sticker Options Coding

    1966 Corvette Coupe

What is the significance of the two letters after the RPO#.

Example: 2M20AA is a 4 speed Muncie Transmission. Sometimes I'll see a AA or an AB, AC, etc.

    Thanks in advance
    Greg

The 2 additional letters further refines the particular vehicle this option is being installed in. In 1966 the 2-M20 4 speed trans. with AA designation was installed in 10,837 Corvette Coupes. 2 other letters (BA & CA) are also listed under this option in '66 but GM Production records indicate NO Corvettes were built in 1966 with these designations.

Thanks David... any idea where I can get a list of these AA, BA, etc codes for all the options offered for 1966? Looked in the judging manual for 1966 but did not see it. Trying to recreate my window sticker (or at least how I believe it looked) to put on the window at car shows.

      Thanks

Available in Noland Adam's Book on C2 Restoration.

Most of the folks that do reproduction window stickers have/know all these codes, so they should have them for you if you use that service. Otherwise get Noland's Book.
