    67 427/390 pcv valve photo

Does anyone have a photo of a correct original PCV Valve used on a 67 427/390 L36 non AIR, that they would post? I'm looking for one and there seem to be many variations.
    Thanks

    Steve,

I believe that the CV-736C PVC valve (GM # 64236950 in the photo below was the first version (machined steel type.) Later versions were stamped steel. I got this photo on the web but forget from who or where.

Many years ago I found a CV-691 (machined steel type) PVC (GM # 6421981) in a salvage yard on a 1965 Chevrolet 396. GM # 6421981 (CV-691 and CV-691C) was replaced with GM # 6423695 (CV-736C) in July 1969 for service parts. All the CV-691-C valves that I have seen are stamped steel.

Here is a photo of some stamped steel CV-736C PCV valves that I have in my collection.

          Steve,

Logic tells me that the first design CV-736-C PVC valves were machined steel thanks to whoever posted the photo on the web. The "early version" stamped steel CV-736-C PVC valve with 4 punch marks as shown in my photo on the left MIGHT be the 1968 version but that is just an educated guess. I have several stamped steel CV-736-C PVC valves with 4 punch marks from salvage yard 1969 and 1970 Chevrolets that I obtained many years ago.
