Hole in driver's side fender well

What is missing from this hole on the driver's side fender well? Two holes. It looks like something was mounted here or an option!

John, those holes I believe were owner inspired holes, maybe a alarm?? My 63 had a alarm and had some holes on inner fender for the siren, JB weld fixed them up.

I agree - that's some owner mod to run wires or mount something....you'll never know...
