    66 Exhaust Heat Shield

    All,
I've been reading the archives on this topic (it was discussed some time ago) and looking at the AIM, but I am still confused as how the exhaust shields are installed correctly. First, I have reproduction shields from a popular mid year supply house for my '66 327/300 four speed. I think that I have the left side (driver's side) pretty much located correctly - at least it appears close to fitting right. However, the right side (passenger) side has a pretty good angle that just doesn't seem to fit any part of the pipe. The AIM calls out 15.75" from basically the crossmember to the front of the shield - it just doesn't look right. Does anyone have a photo of them installed on a car showing the correct installation? I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rob

Thanks to a member who shared a photo of his restoration, I finally get it. I really appreciate this group!
