    1970 LS5 TCS thermal switch

Was the original TCS thermal switch that's in the right cylinder head made of brass or plated steel with a 1 1/16" hex?

Also, if anyone has a picture of an original that would be very helpful.

    Thanks, Rick

The one in my '70 is brass. It was there in '90 when I purchased the car and it looked old then. I can't confirm it's original but it's unlikely it was replaced since the POs disconnected the system. It looks like the photo, which is copied from Zip. I didn't look close enough to note markings.
