    Transmission Bolts

    I have "L" head mark black phosphate bolts attaching my transmission to the bell housing.

    Are "L" head mark bolts correct for a 1970 LT-1?

      George, that head marking is likely correct for many years. Gm always used many manufacturing companies.
      New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.
