    What is Part Number 3832456?

I'm looking for a little help trying to figure out just what Part Number 3832456 actually is.
Looking at the photo attachments, we have the possibility of a C2 Hardtop Wrench...
(referencing the engineering drawing from Noland's book, and the truncated 1967 AIM)
NOTE: The 1964-67 Corvette AIM listed 3832456 for C07, but 63 had no reference for a wrench.

Or perhaps a 1964-65 Chevelle Cable Assembly for a heater (using a parts book reference).
I didn't think GM duplicated part numbers, so I'm hoping the Chevelle info is inkorrect.
Can anyone provide a definitive answer, please?

I looked in an old parts manual and that number isn't listed in the 9.787 cable group at all. The Chevelle numbers aren't even close. I worked in GM parts for many years and we never trusted the part numbers listed in the illustration pages because they were often not correct. We always went to the listings.

THANX for checking, Rick... but I'm now even more confused. I thought the C3 hardtop wrench was a completely different size (Joe L has previously posted his original 1969 wrench that was 9/16 and 1/2 ... compared to the 7/16 and 1/2 of the C2).

And THANX for Tom for checking that info. On a different sheet (truncated for posting), I now see Group 8.821... is that Chevelle?

As Tom has said, the GM parts numbers as printed in the illustrations were quite often incorrect, and if you did not check the numerical group number listing, it would come back to bite you. So the part # 3232456 listed as a cable is an error in the Chevelle catalog and is not listed in GR. 9.787 where it should be. The group # 8.821 is a tools section for tires and wheels - jack handles, wheel wrenches, and knock -off wheel hammer.
My 1971 price catalog shows $2.40 for #3832456, and later discontinued. Not published in any of my P & A catalogs.
