    L-88 Hoods

Would a real GM issued hood for the L-88 ZL-1 only cars (68-69) fit on a LT-1 (70-72)? I think they are both referred as the "short" L-88 hood. I am uncertain if the wiper panels are the same etc.
Also is there any want to identify an original OEM L88 hood?
Were the L-88 Zl-1 spec hoods, with the air boxes, ever available over-the-counter from GM?
    Thank you

    Tim,

    The 1968-69 L-88 hoods ( 427 HD ) were part # 3934160.

      They will fit.
      A friend removed a GM-issue L-88 hood from his LT-1 recently.
