Is it the 1967 that has the POA valve bracket screws placed in a different location?

I wonder about the outer AC, evaporator housing for the 1967 Corvette or is it the 1963 Corvette?

When i compare the screws for the STV valva/POA valve bracket on my spare AC, evaporator box the screws for the bracket for the STV/POA valve seems to be placed on a different location on the AC, evaporator box compared to the AC, evaporator box on the 1964-66 Corvette

Is it the 1967 Corvette with factory air Condition that have a little different STC/POA bracket compared to the STV/POA bracket on 1964-66 Corvette or can it be the 1963 Corvette?

When you compare the location of the screws for the STV valve bracket on my restored outer AC, evaporator box to my second rustfree AC evaporator box you can see that the location of the screws for the STV valve bracket on this AC, evaporator box sits in a different location.
Is my second AC box for a 1967 Corvette as i think it is? Or can it be for a 1963 Corvette?

You can best see the location of the screws for the STV/POA valave bracket on the picture to the far right, last picture of the box

The outer AC, evaporator box is not being repro made but i think the inner AC, heather box is being repro made so if i was to try to swap my original and rustfree, dent free AC, evaporator box for the in car, under dash AC, heater box be a fair trade from side?

Thinking of the fact that the only AC, evaporator boxes you can get hold of is original and comes from a 1963-67 Corvette but the inside AC, heather box are being reproduced

Re: Does the 1967 have the AC POA valve bracket screws placed different compared 1963

    Claus,
These are pictures of my 67 evaporator housing. A previous owner converted from the POA valve to a aftermarket cycling clutch system.
I have a NOS POA valve and will be going back to original. From your pictures it looks like your housing has it's foil tag, if you can read it you should be able to tell the application. 1967 is "EBA 70 67B".
    Kind Regards

Re: Does the 1967 have the AC POA valve bracket screws placed different compared 1963

Thanks for posting pictures. I see on your 1964 factory AC/C60 Corvette there is a POA valve and not a STV valve on the outer AC, evap, heather box that is used on the 1964 Corvette factory AC/C60

So i guess it is pretty obvious why there is some small differences on the mounting place of the screws that holds the STV valve bracket on the 1964 and the POA valve bracket on the 1967. Guess that must be it
