11961 wiper motor thermal circuit breaker

My wiper motor was not working, so I pulled the end cap and found the brown power wire was not soldered to the circuit breaker, the big problem was the thermal circuit breaker was not secured to the cap. Has anyone reattached the wiper motor breaker and how was this done?
