    U S Royal Safety-8 tire

    Looking for the earliest useage of this tire.

    I believe it was used in 1962-62 but not sure about 1958-60.

    Any information is appreciated.

      John,
      Isn't Safery 8 the predecessor tire for Safety 800 that was used in the 62-63 era.? I am aware of a 57 that has a Safety 8 as it's original spare.

          Yes the Safety-8 is the predecessor of the Safety-800.

          I just heard from a 1957 Bowtie owner with the Safety-8 tire.
