Bleeder location rear calipers 1978 (or 1963-1982 I suppose)

It appears that rear calipers can be assembled with an outside half having a bleeder either on the top or bottom. Does it matter, functionally or for judging?

Both in the rear are on the top.
It's virtually impossible to bleed air from the system if its on the bottom.
