    Shimming C-1 Steering 1961 Column

    Could someone please describe the process GM used to determine the amount of column shims needed the at the dash mount? I placed all the mounting parts including shims in a baggie, but did not list count of shims per left-right, I have five shims.

    Thanks for any information!
