Where does this grommet go?

I found this grommet on the drivers side floor mat. This is my 64 and the grommet is smaller than a dime. Any idea where it fell down from?

Check the glovebox wire stop grommets. Also check the hood opening cable where it goes through the firewall. However, it looks it might be too thin for a firewall grommet.

Hi John,

I second what Douglas said about the glovebox side rod grommets. That sure looks like one to me. But how did it get clear over to the driver's side floor?
