Im replacing the engine harness and I'm looking for a Vendor recommendation. It seems like many vendors sell them and Lectric Limited is the best known brand. Any guidance from those who have done them is appreciated.

Re: Engine Wiring Harness Recommendation for 1963
I used the Lectric Limited dash harness and engine harness...completely satisfied. Some, also, like M&H Electric. Both made in the USA.Leif

Dave, agree with Joe, go with M&H. http://www.wiringharness.com/
Sometimes Keene has several in stock.

Re: Engine Wiring Harness Recommendation for 1963
There are early and late 63 headlight harness. Match to the originals.
If you need a late 63 headlight harness I have one.
Don't ask.
The EL harness I have, for the cowl to the headlights, doesn't have the same wire colors as the one I removed. The 63 has plastic ties (Well mine did anyway) that hold the wiring harness to the header above the lights. The EL harness came with a built in plastic push in tab. This tab was not correct for my car. Show below;
The wiring colors, for the headlight motors, didn't match my original 63 wiring.
Replacement and original.
With the information I have now I would try another vendor besides Electric Limited.
I have not have any issues with the function of the harness.

Thanks to all. I do have a new headlight harness and dash harness but the engine harness is old and really needs replacing.
Gary - Your advice is good. All the items you mentioned are out for restoration.- Top

Re: Engine Wiring Harness Recommendation for 1963
Richard, I could not find anything in the Judging Manual about differences in the early and late headlight harnesses. I'm sure M&H will have the info but would rather confirm with another NCRS member just to be safe.
Thanks,
