1967 brake handle vs 1968 brake handle

In looking at vendors, some say they carry the '68 to '75, but not the '67 brake handle. Other than early/late '67 handles were there any differences between the '67 brake handle and mechanism, and the '68 handles and mechanisms?
    Thanks,

    Steve

Thanks. Seems pretty subtle. Wonder why the change.

        Steve,
I must respectfully disagree with the answer given above. The late '67 through '69 handles are identical (early '67's are also the same except that many did not have a chrome tip or stripe). The diamond pattern of all 3 years extends to the front edge of the plastic and has sharper corners. !970 and up have the 1/8" space between the pattern and the chrome tip. For many years I was restoring these handles and have had hundreds sent to me to restore. My own '69 has the original handle and that is how this one is.

The ‘67 & ‘68 E brake handle are the same with “knurl” all the way up. The only variation is the chrome on the ‘67 early version is black instead as Jeff points out. This early version can be seen scattered thru out ‘67 production in later built cars as GM did not rotate stock to use up the old before restocking on the new.

A noticeable difference in the plastic slider (that fits in console) is the split on the replacements is on the wrong side.
