I have some picture of what I believe is the original 1963 oil gauge line to share.
The LIC catalog lists the line as a steel one that is copper coated.
I am posting pictures of my line. I checked it with a magnet and it doesn't stick.
The replacement line is magnetic.
Original is on the top in the picture below:

One better look close before installing the line as delivered. You can see the large bur in the end of the LIC replacement line.
Fittings were an exact copy as far as I could tell.
So was the firewall bushing. Exception was it didn't have the split.

I plan on splitting it to make the wiring installation easier.
The split sure looks stock but I am not 100 percent on this.
