Early 1974 (1973 Build) Seat Belt Override Relay Cover

Does anyone own an early 1974 Corvette with a original seat belt override switch that has a full rubber cover #4 as in the AIM illustration attached or one with no rubber cover at all.

    Thank You
    Rich

I'm the original owner of a 74 with build date of October 5th 1973 (vin 04876). The override relay on the car has a rubber cover but it is not the same as pictured in the judging guide (3rd edition page 198). It does not have a date code stamp.

The car also had different windshield wiper arms on the left and right sides as mentioned in the judging guild on page 78. One broke and I replaced them both.

...my 1974 Corvette is VIN#01950 and was completed on 9-11-73 and has the small(maybe what you're referring to as "no button cover")relay button. My car also as mentioned above has one '73 style wiper arm with the metal fluid tube, while the other wiper arm has the later '74 style rubber hose arm.

just ran into this AIM page again... The cover was apparently used with options AV06 and Z49:

AV06 - export ignition interlock system delete 1974
        Z49 - Canadian delivery

I suspect it was a plug that defeated the whole system. Had I only known... Since I started driving in the 60's I have always started the engine first (to it warm it up) then adjusted seat, seat belt, mirrors and then any female passenger who might be on board. The "seat belt interlock feature" drove me crazy until I disable it. Probably a day or two after I took delivery of the 1974.
