According to the 1963-1964 NCRS Judging Guide the blue cover was printed until January, 1963 "and a second edition coral toned cover after approximately January 1963 until the end of 1963 production."

Not sure about that. I had a '63 coupe that I had bought from the original owner that was assembled on 6/10/63. That original to the car

owners manual was a second edition and was blue.

The 2nd Edition cover was similar to the 1st edition. Its easy to tell them apart when you see them together, but not so much without the other edition present. The big differences were in the tone of the colors and the location of the edge trim, but neither was "coral". Sounds like someone's confusing the "coral" warranty book...

My March 63 has the original coral warranty book. It's Coral. John D

Correct, the warranty book is coral. But wahat color is your owners manual. According to the NCRS JM it should also be coral, second edition.

Andy, all 63 owners manuals are blue irregardless of the edition.

That is a good catch. Hopefully the 63/64 rewrite team makes note of that. Having been part of several rewrite teams these things are appreciated and needed to improve these Judging Guides.
