The 63 A/C ( C60 ) air cleaner was configured slightly different than the non-A/C air cleaner. When installed they looked identical but the A/C air cleaner looked like the snorkels were pointed towards the passenger sider of the car just a little. That was because there were two tabs on the base center section. When mounting the air cleaner these tabs when they hit the carb. would force the air cleaner to rotate. This was done so the left hand snorkle did not rub a hole in the radiator hose. So, two air cleaners in 63.

I didn't know that - I know there is a unique 63 A/C only upper radiator hose to maneuver around obstacles though...

Not trying to pirate my own thread but....

I forgot my AFB is off the car and the air cleaner is easy to get at.
