I bought my flannel lined cover from Mid America 30 years ago, it is now just starting to rip as the cotton is dying out I guess. This was a no pocket or antenna hole cover without a tight elastic, it drapes over the car. I haven't seen one like it a long time. Post a picture of what you end up with.

I got over the cumbersome car covers years ago, e.g., bunching them up, laundering
them, etc. Since my cars are never stored outside, I just cover them in bedsheets and
then lay furniture blankets over the hood and rear deck. Then when you remove them,
they're easy to fold up and hang on the wall. The sheets are easier to launder as well.
Another bonus is that it's less expensive than purchasing a car cover.

        That's a good idea.

Coverking and CoverCraft are two large USA manufacturers. They have a variety of fabrics for different uses. You can order from them directly, or through one of the many resellers, like Ecklers, AutoAnything, California Car Cover.

I purchased covers from each and I've found CoverKing covers fit better and have fewer seams.

Corvette oriented (or any car-specific) resellers order and stock quantities from these manufacturers, which enables them to offer a good price for Corvette applications. Some of these resellers also offer fairly nice yet inexpensive (< $100) custom Corvette covers they buy in bulk from Asian suppliers.

When a cover becomes torn, worn or begins to shed, I keep it and place it on top of a new car cover. The new cover on the bottom keeps the paint clean; old covers on top keep the new cover clean and provide extra protection/thickness against garage mishaps. Install, remove and roll stacked covers together; it's no more work than using one.
