1970 Carpet Installation/Outer Seat belts/Rear Glass Storage Tray Hinge

I'm installing new carpet in a July built 1970 Coupe.

The AIM shows a trimmed slit in the carpet at the outer lap belt anchor point location. This suggest that the carpet actually hides the anchor bolt/bracket area and the belt comes through the trimmed slit, is this correct?

The AIM also shows the rear storage vertical carpet is cut (U shape from the top) to allow the storage tray hinge to bolt directly to the rear fiberglass wall, is this correct?

The seat belt bolt and retainer sit on the top of the carpet. They cut a slot in the carpet and pushed the bolt through. The latch, at the side of the console, is the same way.

The rear carpet was trimmed around (mostly) the rear hinge for the storage tray. Some are trimmed much more than others, some cover the hinge.
