    1955 powerglide transmission

    I am looking for a rebuild kit for a 1955 powerglide. Can anyone help as to who sells them?

          BJ,
          Rebuild kits contain mostly gaskets. You will likely find, with close inspection, that you need some of the internal hard parts like drums/shafts that wear and cause the leaks. There is a guy in Massachusetts that specializes in old Powerglide parts that is a good source for the "hard" parts. Can't think of his name right now but he advertises in Hemmings.

          BTW way what number car do you have and what is the differential letter and numerical date code?
