1966 & 1967 Glove Box Items for Bloomington Judging?

    Thanks in advance.

I have both a 1966 425/427 and a 1967 435/427 going to Bloomington in a few weeks and can't really get a straight answer on what I need for NCRS and Bloomington judging as far as the glove box contents go.

I have the usual items like the owners manual bag, owner's manual, warranty information and the radio instruction sheet.

I also have the trim ring instruction sheet for the '67.

I'm getting different opinions on key envelopes, license plate hardware envelopes and other small items that I read in various Judging guide volumes and hear from "experts". They are all different.

I'm hearing that these paper items aren't judged anymore, are judged, etc.

So, what's the real answer? What All do I truly need in the glove box contents for judging?

Bloomington has nothing printed, so you won't find any recommendations.

I do not have the latest brand new 67 JG, but at least for 68-69 and 70-72 we specify which items are and are not judged right in the manual. That's the first place I would look.

For Bloomington, off the top of my head you will need the items that you already have along with the radio reception dash tag.

Bloomington Gold the following items are judged for 1967: Owners manual envelope, Warranty Book (POP), Trim Ring Card, AM/FM Radio Sheet, Owners Manual. These items are judged individually or in pairs so do not miss having one in your Glovebox. Key envelopes didn't emerge until 1968 model year but make sure you have 2 sets of coded keys because that is also a judged line item. Hardtop wrench if it is equipped with a hardtop and the cloth bag. Install the license plate hardware on the car.

1966 has all the above except the Trim ring card

Contents could vary... depending on your options. As for the judging requirements, I defer to others.
Here's the miscellaneous shipping lists for 1966 & 67 (taken from the AIM)... hope this helps:

And, don't forget the tire pressure label on the glove box door.

Bloomington Gold also judges a Marroney Label (otherwise known as a "window sticker"). Have it in place on the window -- Since I don't do 1967 I can't tell you which window, but there was a lengthy thread on this board not too long ago about which glue to use. I suspect which window is contained in that thread.

To keep this appropriate for this board: NCRS does not judge the "window sticker"
