1956 Pictures of Car

Does anyone have detailed pictures of a 1956 attached to there membership like Patrick Hulst has of his C3 car. Patricks pictures were a great help while restoring my 71. Hoping to find something similar for a 56/57.

Sheldon, although I don't have my pics attached to my profile, I do have an extensive file of pics that I took during my restoration of VIN 3241. Let me know what you need and I will see if I have it.

Gary, I am working on the Chassis right now so any pics you can send me showing details of paint markings on diff, tie rods, front suspension would be great. also pics of engine/ tranny sitting in chassis from a few different angles.

Sheldon, when I was restoring my 1957 I found that the 56-57 TIM&JG was helpful, I also relied on the photos and drawings in Noland Adams
"The Complete Corvette Restoration & Technical Guide-Vol. 1 1953 thru 1962". I checked the publications section of NCRS and did not find it for sale. You may want to check thru Amazon or E-bay. My copy was signed by Nolan in 2002 at The Laughlin, Nv. Regional. If I keep it long enough
it may help pay for my grandson's first week in college. I fond that Noland was the guru of restoration publications involving C-1 and C-2.

Sheldon, I sent you two different files last night. One may have been too big and didn't open, so I selected out the chassis / engine photos for you and put them in a smaller folder. Those should have opened just fine. One other thought, Gregg Wyatt's website always has great pictures of Top Flight, BG cars and many of them have undercarriage photos. Of course, be cautious of what you consider to be correct, but it is another great source. www.vintagecorvettes.com
