C6 Bose Amplifier, Convertible
I've seen documentation that says the Bose amplifier for C6 Convertibles changed from 15270620 to 15903397. But, I haven't seen a reference as to when the change occurred in factory production. Anybody know?
Also, there's reference to a third generation amplifier that's offered as a GM 'surplus' part with a 10320041 part number. Hum, surplus part? That's a new one on me...
And my Mr. Goodwrench counterman says this 3rd gen PN is 'no good'. But, I've heard parts guys make declarations like this before. If it's not in their service inventory search universe, then it's not a 'good' PN. Hogwash, GM had many parts that weren't carried by service.
So, does anybody know about this 10320041 amplifier? The few offerings of it on the net are MUCH less expensive than the handful of 2nd gen 15903397 amps I've run across.
