Many years ago Vette Vues magazine did a several part series on the development of the air box cars. A lot of interesting information and photos. I probably still have the issues but it would take a while for me to find them. If you don't have them I can attempt to locate them this upcoming weekend.

Rick, I also seem to remember a picture of a rough 57 on a trailer with a test airbox at an old NCRS meet and printed in an old Restorer. If anyone can find that article and post the pictures I would be grateful. JoeComment

Joe, To answer your email. The FI air box (called air duct assembly-fuel injection cool.) lay out print L-47877 indicates a drawing start date of 2-1-57 and finish date of 2-21-57. Additional revisions were made 5-16-57 with 2 final approvals 5-29-57 and 6-10-57.Comment
