    1957 Carpet Insulation?

    Is there supposed to be insulation under the carpet of a 1957? Our new carpet looks like it fits too loose.

          be certain to install the carpet FIRST before installing the two stainless moldings under the glove box door. the rug should be UNDER the moldings. mike
