70 454 Ignition Shielding Bracket Bolts

On a 70 big block, what type of bolt is used to hold the ignition shielding bracket to the intake manifold? Does it use a regular hex head bolt like the lifting bracket or a shouldered hex head bolt like the other bolts holding the intake manifold to the heads? Is a washer used?

I had one response on the Corvette Forum, and I saw two 70 big blocks at the NCRS event in Austin, TX this weekend. All of them have the shouldered hex head bolt holding the ignition shielding bracket with no washer.

Hopefully this help someone else in the future.

If my car is one of the two in Austin you referenced, you may want to check further. This engine was rebuilt by a PO, and has a mix of original and replacement bolts.

I enjoyed meeting you and seeing your car. FWIW, I drove 590 miles Dallas to Austin round trip, with long stretches at 75-85 (speed limit was 75 with virtually no traffic). I was a bit surprised how well it ran, and with no problems.
