As I understand things the 1984 Corvette with Z51 option had two cooling fans. One in front of radiator and one behind. My car has these two fans and the Z51 option. However I do not find any information about the push fan in the front. I have never seen it come on nor heard it come on. Is it suppose to come on at 225 like the fan in the rear ?

No It comes on at a higher temp... like 235 or something IIRC.Pete Bergmann

Puller fan comes on around 225F and is controlled from the engine computer module.
Z51 Pusher fan is on/off at around 235 F (as Pete said) and is controlled from a temperature switch in the block. You can remove the fan wire and jumper it out with 12 volts and see it run.

PS: It is GOOD if the pusher fan never comes on and is not required.
