    70 LT1 TCS relay wiring

This subject has been mentioned a few times on the forum but I have found no answer. The TCS relay mounted on the firewall on my 70 LT1 has four male contacts. I know that the double plastic connector with blue and green wires fits on the relay only one way. There are also two single black plastic connectors with black wire and pink stripes in the same area. One goes to the TCS relay but which contact? I can't find a schematic that shows which terminal does what. There is another black wire with pink stripe with a black single connector. Mine is taped to the harness behind the wiper motor. It is the TCS jumper harness connector . Both black wires with pink stripes go to the same location electrically on the firewall connector. Where does this TCS jumper harness connect to or does it remain unconnected? Since the TCS systems are often disconnected I can't count out the possibility of a missing wire. Thanks for any help. Bill,
I don't have my TCS info with me but part of the TCS system involves a temperature sender in the head. As I recall it has a green wire with an L shaped connector. Do you have that.?

Re: 70 LT1 TCS relay wiring

Hi Dave. My LT1 has all of its TCS wiring and parts. I think I have solved the question I had about the two black/pink wires . The 3961573 relay has 4 terminals but the back two are common. The double black plastic connector with the green and blue wires go on the relay only one way , and I believe that one of the black/pink wires goes on either one of the remaining relay terminals. My original question pertains to the TCS jumper harness connector which is one of the black/pink wires. Mine is factory taped to the harness behind the wiper motor. Although the two black/pink wire connectors neatly mate that does not make any sense because they both go to the same place on the other end. I think that one of the black/pink wires is meant to go to one of the remaining relay contacts and the other is unused but i would like to confirm. I cannot find this wiring in the service 70 service manual. What is the TCS jumper harness connector used for?
