64 Tach needle replacement help

Looking to see if anyone has replaced the tach. needle in a 64, is it a friction fit or rotate needle? thanks for your advice, Ed

If I had to guess, I would say it's a friction fit & you twist it to the left while pulling outward.

Ed, just did my 63. The same part number is used in 63/64 for the needle/pointer. It's a simple push-on or friction as you say.
