C-3 doors interchangeable?

I have a 1973 project convertible with rust in both of the doors. Never realized the door frames were metal. Anyway, are the 73 convertible doors interchangeable with other years? Does convertible door only work with convertible car or can coupe door be used to replace convertible door?

No they are not interchangeable with coupe doors. Also earlier convertible doors won't have the steel beam in the door.

Coupe doors will fit on a convertible, but won’t have the recess for the chrome guide pin. There is a reproduction of that made, and it can be welded in.
