    1965 gauge cluster

swap meet purchase with a LC sticker on the back. With a 60 pound oil pressure, guessing the tach gauge was replaced to a high horse gauge. Our 300 HP car has LA on the back. Any input is appreciated.

My April L84 and July L78 both have LB. The only cluster I remember seeing had 66 knobs on it, is that the one?

Most likely the tach has been changed. As a side not I inspected a 300hp '65 yesterday. It had all of the low horsepower gauges except an 80lb oil pressure gauge. With my snake camera I could see the original LC sticker that you would expect on the backside.

There were early low horse power cars built with the high oil pressure gauge. Years ago the NCRS manual covered this. But the latest versions do not. I have a high oil pressure gauge in my 250 horse ‘65 built in November ‘64.
