    1966 Steering Wheel

I looking for a 1966 Steering Wheel w/o Tele. That will pass NCRS judging.
    There are 2 available:
    Ecklers 25-115002 $332.99
    Corvette Central 562576 $299.95

Has anyone purchased one from the above dealers or knows if they will pass NCRS judging.

there are plenty of used good original 64-66 plastic wheels for sale for about that same price. there is no way I would consider a repro when good used ones are out there. I don't think they would judge very well

I too agree with Keith. If you need one I have a couple extras along the same prices as the repop. If interested email and I will send you some pictures.

            Guys,

Just a heads up that the appropriate way to offer items for sale is by contacting the interested party via a private message or an e-mail. The DB is not meant to be a forum for the advertising of items for sale by posters. I would be willing to bet that if this gets out of hand the moderators will step in and delete postings.

              Hi Tim,

I agree with all of the guys. I would never use repro parts on my '66 unless it was my last choice. I'd be willing to bet you'll find a couple of steering wheels on that on-line auction site right now. '64-'66 wheels clean/polish up nicely. Although finding an original without cracks can be a challenge. Good luck.
