I have a 1990 ZR1 with 426 miles. I'm more than confident that the car has all of its original paint but I question the plate that the high mount (3rd Brake Light) is mounted. I don't think the actual brake light assembly has been painted though, just the plate. Where these plates painted and installed to the glass at the PPG plant or at Bowling Green?

Don’t know answer to your question. In-any-case, best to leave low mile car undisturbed and run through system eventually getting to Crossed Flags. (I am assuming car has not been judged.) Depending on early or later production, there may have been configuration and finish changes to parts in question. Contact NTL Tom Barr as your best resource.
