Tape used to cover holes on inside door panels of 64 roadster

Just finishing up the restoration of the door assemblies on my 64 Roadster. The assembly manual calls for three holes in the inside panel to be covered with tape. The first hole is just under wing vent cover plate. The second hole is above the door handle assembly. The third hole is in the upper rear of the door just after the inside lock assembly. The number for the tape given in the assembly manual is 3701780.

Anyone know what kind of tape was used and where it might be sourced.

I have not measured mine, and should have. But my guess is that it is about 1 1/2" wide, maybe 1 3/4".
I know that it is black masking tape.

Perfect. I thought it was probably some sort of masking tape but had no idea what width or color it might have been.
