    1954 Radiator Question

In addition to the Harrison tag on my radiator there is another. A photo of both is attached. Does anyone know what the second one might be? Perhaps a tag from some prior trip to a radiator shop since 1954?

    Re: 1954 Radiator Question

back in the day, radiator repair shops(now near non-existantant in our area due to the use of plastic tanks on new vehicle radiators) commonly soldered their shop copper tags on repaired radiators. your photo illustrates this old time procedure. I had a 57 radiator repaired by the Bailey radiator shop in morgantown in the early 70's. their tag was embossed with "beast damn shop in w va" and then they'd had stamp their lot # on the tag. mike
