    Jim, what year is it? Does show blackout was still being used with disc brake cars, however much less. Seen original 65 396 showing blackout on half shafts, also noticed the drive shaft is not covered at this point on the line.

      Notice rear end, half, struts, brake drums all got blackout - bet the spray also got the adapters at the end of half shafts also.

        Sounds reasonable as there were heat shields behind the mufflers that were 63 only.

          That's the 1966 line.

                More pics after gentle cleaning. Better view of the blackout on the half shafts and rods as well as some great original factory paint dabs, body shim masking tape, and original grey spring paint. Kinda like Corvette Archeology!
