The original lines are TBW steel. None were stainless steel. As I've said many times before, I LOVE stainless steel. But, not for fuel or brake lines. Getting a good, tight seal at flare joints can be problematic with stainless steel. Plus, if you install new TBW lines now, they'll be good for as long as you own the car and, likely, for as long as the next 2 or 3 guys own the car. After that, who cares?
