With heavy heart, I have to announce, long time member, #888, Dick Robinson passed yesterday. He was a prolific restorer of many C1 Corvettes, including many C1 race cars. He will me missed by all. Arrangements will be posted as soon as they become available. Keep his wife Roberta and entire family in your thoughts and prayers.

Re: Dick Robinson Passing
a more gentlemanly NCRS member doesn't exist. his knowledge of the 56 and 57 corvettes was legendary. and no one knew more about Airboxes than dick, having restored 7 or 8 of the original 43 . he was extremely generous with his knowledge of the c-1 and c-2s. i never heard him raise his voice when discussing deductions of his cars while on a NCRS judging field. even tho he's gone, his memory persists in the many corvettes he restored in his lifetime. he is irreplaceable and i extend my sympathies to his family. mike mccagh- Top

Re: Dick Robinson Passing
Dick was the finest teacher in this American marque we all call the Corvette. Learned so much from him when I first judged exterior with him many years ago. Condolences to Roberta and the family, as he will be sorely missed by everyone.Rick Aleshire

Re: Dick Robinson Passing
Can't think of the words to express how great of a person he was or begin to quantify the knowledge he shared. That is the sign of a truly special person I guess. Thank you Dick for all you gave us.- Top

Re: Dick Robinson Passing
The Delaware Valley Chapter will be putting together a newsletter in remembrance of Dick. If anyone would like to contribute stories, pictures or well wishes for the family, please send them to me at the following email address: thoyer1@verizon.net. Several people have already reached out and I thank you. His passing leaves a big void in our chapter as well as the entire Corvette hobby.
