67 BB NOS GM Intake Gasket Kit Help

I'll be refreshing my 67 BB oval port engine next winter. Years ago I purchased two GM NOS oval port intake gasket kits. The two kit part numbers I have are GM #14019899 and GM #6259379. As I understand it the original gasket kit was GM #3955526 which was discontinued without supersession in March, 1982. Sometime in late 1975 the service replacement for 66-72 oval port Corvette big blocks was changed to GM #6259379. GM #6259379 was discontinued in November, 1984 and replaced by GM #14019899. GM #14019899 was discontinued in February, 1991 and replaced by GM #10174981. There appears to be slight differences in the gasket designs. I suspect both will work for oval port BB engines. However, which of the two should I select for the rebuild? I was leaning towards GM #6259379.
    thanks

    I would use the 6259379.

Just one point of correction I missed: the original gasket set for your application was not the GM #3955526 (even if I said that previously). The original gasket set was GM #3876197. It was replaced by the GM #3955526 in May, 1969.

          Joe
I found some other threads that suggest both the versions I have require a profile trim to better match the originally installed version profile. Specifically, around the exhaust cross-over port area. One post had a service photo that had been used as a guide. I'll ponder doing that.
