Which tires/wheels will take the biggest points hit?

Here is what I have to be judged. A 1964 corvette as seen in avatar. Four repro knock offs with new Goodyear B/W radials and a Coker Firestone Deluxe 6.70-15 with one inch W/W on original 64 wheel. Other option is to put the 25 year old Firestone Deluxe Champion 6.70-15 bias ply with one inch W/W on repro steel wheels with hubcaps, and the above Coker in the spare tub. The Coker just does fit in the spare tub. What should I use for judging? Your thoughts please!

John, My Coker tires lost only three points at the nationals this inc.s the spare, original wheels and caps. that may be your best bet. I am not sure about the deluxe champions being 25 years old there may still be a date on those. and driving on that old of a tire??.

Your wheels and tires should all match. Exception is an original spare. But don’t have a black wall spare and white walls on the car. As that explicitly shows an added option the car didn’t come with. Don’t mix steel and aluminum wheels .......another red flag.
