Opinions on replacement 1972 Front bumper
In need of a a front bumper for my 72 restoration. Anyone have experience with the quality and fitment of the GM Restoration Parts bumper?

There are at least 2 varieties of replacement bumpers out there. I found that the closest was available from Paragon. However, the actual closest would be a properly restored original. I couldn't find one - for core or restored - at the time.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Just an FYI for those that care. Original bumpers have 2 flaws on the bottom portion in the chrome plating. It is where they were hung by in 2 holes. If you look you will see nickel plating where the chrome did not take because of the apparatus that was used to hold them in place. This is very difficult to replicate. Process: copper, nickel, and then chrome with buffing in between. Usually as we know, most plating shops over restore when it comes to chrome plating."SOLID LIFTERS MATTER"Comment
